FITNESS includes body, brains, and soul. It also includes the person's instincts, social conscience and ethics. Remember fitness is not just physical there are components to developing body, mind and spirit. In this article physical fitness will be addressed . Being physically fit for the majority of the population means being able to endure aerobic exercises three to four times a week, for half an hour at a heart rate that is 60 to 75 percent of 220 less the persons age. (American Heart Association target heart rate). Although and individual assessment should be started by ones own physician in case of possible heart disease.
RESISTANCE - Toning and strengthening the muscles is an important part of any training program. Performing repetitive movements with free weights, a machine, or your own body weight enables you to work on various muscle groups. Weight training breaks the muscles down, as they repair themselves they become stronger. Also improving the muscle condition raises the bodies metabolic rate so your body can burn energy more efficiently. This also enables us to body sculpt , tone and define muscles.

FLEXIBILITY - Your muscles' ability to move through a full range of motion is critical. Stretching can prevent an injury from occurring, by simply taking time to do some stretching movements before and after each workout. Stretching can also help to correct postural imbalances.

CARDIOVASCULAR - Any type of continuous motion that increases the bodies demand for oxygen. Cardio is fundamental to any good fitness program - it woks your heart and lungs and helps to improve physical fitness. Cardio also boosts your energy levels and reduces you risk of heart disease. The heart is a muscle and it responds to exercise in the same manor as any other muscle in the body. If pushed to new levels of exertion, it responds by becoming stronger. Therefore it has a higher stroke volume (VO2 max) it can pump more blood out of the heart with each beat. Your resting heart rate will them decrease which means you are putting less pressure on your cardiovascular system you are now one step closer to being physically fit.
FREESTYLE programming has taken these three components and uniquely put together a program geared towards women's goals and needs, by allowing them to build long, flowing muscles that enhance their natural curves, attractive bust lines, toned arms, fat free thighs and curvy but cellulite gluteus, giving a fit but feminine look. FREESTYLE will dramatically reduce body fat by utilizing compound exercises. These are movements that work two or more muscles at the same time, increasing the amount of energy used to do that exercise, which in turn burns more calories, thereby reducing the percentage of body fat. Using compound movements creates longer, leaner muscle and lessens the chance of injury, (placing less stress on ligaments and tendons enabling more effective exercise). Priority focus needs to be on the lower body ad not on the upper body.
